"A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me." John 16:32

Noah & Elijah

This is Elijah's hospital picture.
Noah's 18 month picture
Elijah at 2 weeks old
Thanks for the blanket Aunt Sandy!
This will be my black-mail picture in about 12 years when they'd rather punch each other than hug each other!

greenbluff 2

This was another farm at Greenbluff.
Noah was really excited to ride the pony.
Until it started moving!
Nathan on the other hand loved every minute of it.
I would say they had a really good time!

greenbluff

While my Mom and Nathan were here we got to go to a place up here called Greenbluff.  (It's like Oak Glen in CA.)  You can go and pick fresh fruits and veggies, run through hay mazes, and eat all kinds of pies and desserts.  After spending almost 5 hours there you'd think we'd find time to pick stuff.  Instead we walked away with fresh apple cider, a peach pie, and pumpkin donuts!  Maybe next time we'll go for the healthy stuff!
Elijah is in there somewhere!
I find it interesting that you can actually see the skyline behind them.  Not just smog!
This was the hay maze the boys and my Mom ran through.  If you look to the right of Noah and my Mom, you can barely see Nathan's little blonde head inside the maze.

Cousins

At the end of September, my Mom was able to come stay with us for a week and bring my nephew Nathan.  This was the first time Nathan got to meet Elijah.  He kept asking me when baby Tank was coming so he could fly in an airplane to come see him.  We all had such a good time while they were here.  Of course it was sad to see them leave but at least we'll all get to spend Christmas together.  (And it will get us out of the snow for a while!)
Aren't they handsome first thing in the morning!
Grandma's (or I should say Ma-maw's) boys!
They look thrilled to go down the slide don't they?!  They were actually getting upset with me because I kept taking too many pictures. This picture cracks me up because I don't think my Mom or Noah knew how fast this slide was going to be. =)

Elijah

It's amazing to think Elijah is already 11 weeks old.  He is growing so fast just like his brother did.  At his 8 week check-up he weighed 13lb. 6oz.  That's 5lb. and 6oz. more than birth!  He has grown 5 inches already as well.  Unfortunately, he's been put on acid reflux medication like Noah was.  He would cry for about 3-4 hours at night and choke on his spit.  The only thing we could do to calm him was put him in this wrap carrier I have and walk him up and down the street.  The neighbors got to know his cry real well.  Jason calls him the floating head.  Thankfully the medication worked right away and he's such a happy baby now.  He gives us big smiles and is trying to laugh.
Deep in thought!
I think my sister put it best when she said Elijah looks like an asian Noah.  It is so true!  It's hard to tell in these pictures but Elijah does look more like Jason and Noah than me.  He has beautiful blue eyes just like brother too.  Which is funny because Jason has brown eyes and I have green.  His hair also has more red in it when the sunlight hits it.
I put this picture in here because every time I see it, it cracks me up.  My family might understand.  For some reason I think Elijah looks just like my cousin Jeff here!  Don't you guys think so or am I too sleep deprived?!?!

Brotherly Love

We are so thankful and blessed to have 2 wonderful sons!  God has given Noah such patience and love for his brother.  Noah talks to Elijah all day long.  "Hi baby!  Baby waked up.  Baby eating num-nums.  Mama hold baby.  Baby crying.  No-no give baby kiss!  No-no share with baby."  (Noah calls himself No-no.)  He get very concerned when he crys, loves to tickle him, and tells us when Elijah needs his diaper changed.  He tells us, "Baby stinky pee-you!"  I know things might be different in a year or two so we're really enjoying it now.

My Boys!

My 3 boys!  Aren't they handsome?! I love this picture because Noah actually let Jason hold Elijah long enough for me to get a couple pictures.  Noah is a huge Daddy's boy!  Anytime Jason tries to hold Elijah, Noah will tell him, "No Daddy, Mama hold baby.  Daddy play toys."  Every once in a while Jason gets to spend time with Elijah.  Most of the time he has to wait until Noah's in bed before he can get Elijah to himself.  Daddy's arms are going to be pretty full if Elijah becomes a Daddy's boy too!
Noah was getting pretty tired of me taking pictures and saying smile.  Can you tell?!?!  =)

Soccer

Starting this month we signed Noah up for soccer.  He goes every Monday for an hour and gets to play with Daddy and about 10 other kids his age.  Jason and I thought he'd be really hesitant to even try it.  He's not much of a crowd person.  He'd rather sit back and watch everyone else.  As soon as he saw the ball he got excited.  Even though he doesn't like crowds, he loves anything that has to do with a ball.  He's a sports fan just like his Daddy.  Many Saturdays are in front of the TV watching college football.  You can here Noah screaming for them to throw the ball and fall down (which he thinks is hilarious.)  Needless to say he loves soccer and doesn't even notice everyone else around him.
Noah had to kick a ball through a hula-hoop into the net.
They then have to practice rolling a hula-hoop and catching it while it's still rolling.
They also play catch the fox tail.  Noah has to run before Daddy can take his tail off and vice-versa.  But you can see he doesn't get too far without letting go of Daddy's finger.  As long as he's holding on to Daddy, he's okay.
At the end, they bring all the kids together and play with a parachute which I think is Noah's favorite part.
