Keeping warm...

Well we had another beautiful day of snow! I'm enjoying it but I think Jason's already tired of having to drive in it and shovel his car off each morning.
Noah on the other hand has found interesting ways to stay warm.
He does enjoy screaming, I mean looking out the window. We tried on his new snow pants and loved how he looked like a huge marshmallow.
We did get the results back from his allergen test. It looks like he takes after his Pap (Jason's dad.) He is EXTREMELY allergic to all types of nuts (thanks Eddy!) The doctor prescribed us two epee pens (if that's how you spell it.) Hopefully we'll never have to use them. He's also mildly allergic to oats, soy beans, and green peas. Which is very odd because he eats green peas at least every other day.
Well I hope everyone is doing well. If you get a chance, send us an email or leave a comment. We'd love to hear from you!
God Bless!

Thanksgiving day...

Noah enjoyed helping Daddy smash graham crackers. I think I went a little over board this year but everything turned out great! Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, biscuits, green bean casserole, green salad, and 3 desserts!!!!! And it was just Jason and me! Needless to say, we've been eating leftovers for breakfast lunch and dinner. We did get to have dessert with our friends Meghan, Burton, and their little girl Brooklyn. Noah had a good time following her around.

Noah even got his first little taste of turkey. He liked it but I don't think it settled too well. This might be yet another thing he's allergic too. He had blood drawn last week to have an allergen test. We should know sometime soon specifically what foods he's allergic to.

We got to go for a very short walk to get some sunlight. Noah enjoys his little bubble! This helps keep the 23 degree "heat" off of his tiny face. I think people think I'm nuts because he is the most bundled-up baby around!

Moving fun...
Noah and Nathan wanted to make sure the dog's crates worked before we left!
The day Ma-Maw/Grammy had to leave. No tears Mom...only 32 more days until we see you again! We can't wait!!!!!
Our first snow...
It was nice to have our first little snow day, even though it didn't even cover the grass. The dogs had fun exploring it, just wait till there's a couple inches out there!
I don't think Bugsy really cares for his new snow gear!

Internet...FINALLY!!!!

Hi All! Well what can I say...moving SUCKS!!!! Especially since nothing works! Where do I begin... Noah, Grammy, and I made it safely up here a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to my Mom, we got probably 80% of our unpacking done. Noah was such a trooper through having a different home, not many toys to play with, and getting his two enormous front teeth. Jason made it safely home and Noah would not let Daddy put him down for the first couple of days. Then the "fun" began... My Mom had to leave on Sunday (one of the worst days of my life!) We had a very hard time but my family will be up here to celebrate Noah's first birthday. We can't wait! Nathan (my nephew) says he can't wait to go on an airplane to Washington where the snow is! We then began "trying" to set up our new home. Our neighbors upstairs have already complained about our barking dogs. They have to work at night and sleep during the day so we need to be courteous to them (yeah right, considering they have two huge dogs who like to do laps in their apartment all day which sounds like our roof is caving in!) We had to dump our entire computer and reformat it for who knows what reason. Finally the internet works! Let me tell you how boring it is with no phone, TV, or internet. It's just Noah and I with a cell phone and radio. I wish I could send pictures but we don't have the programs loaded back onto our computer to upload them. We did have our first snow. Beautiful!!! It snowed overnight and lasted until 2 the next day. I've also had the pleasure of scrapping my first windshield (with a shower cleaner mind you =) What can I say I'm a California girl! Everything listed above would make it seem like we hate it up here but in actuality we love it! We just wish everything else would fall into place. Of course, time and God will change all that. I'm attempting to cook my first Thanksgiving tomorrow...wish me luck. Hopefully the first picture I post won't be of our apartment burnt down! Well I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving and lots to eat! Love, Kim

Trick or Treat!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! Noah and I enjoyed trick or treating with Cousin Nathan, Ma-maw (Grammy), and Auntie Jennifer. Nathan actually decided what Noah was going to be for us. He said he wanted to be Buzz Lightyear and Noah had to be Woody! For those of you who know Nathan, once his mind's made up, that's it! After struggling to get costumes on, Nathan explained to Noah what trick or treating is. We were finally ready to go...
Sadly, after 2 or 3 houses Nathan got scarred and wanted to go home. Our trip around the block was cut short but we had a good time anyway!
I also attached a picture we had taken of the boys. It's just hard to believe Nathan will be 4 in April and Noah's already 10 months! Time flies....

Carving Pumpkins

Well we attempted to carve our first pumpkin with no luck. Noah really liked the pumpkin at first. Once the top was taken off he gagged! Sadly I laughed! He wanted nothing to do with the pumpkin. As desctructive and active as he is, I'm surprised he didn't want to rip the inside out. We tried forcing his hand to feel everything but he just sat there with his arms crossed and got upset. So needless to say, I carved his pumpkin to show the two little teeth he has on the bottom!
