"A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me." John 16:32

Elijah 3 months

These are Elijah's 3 month pictures.  He has grown so much!  He goes back to the doctor in two weeks and  I wouldn't be surprised if he weighs 16 or 17 lbs.  I guess he really is our Baby Tank!  He smiles and laughs all the time.  He loves to watch Noah play, eats every 2 hours, and refuses to sleep during the day!  I guess with a big brother to learn from, he might miss something if he closes his eyes.  He still has all his hair and it's starting to curl.  For those of you who watch The Office, his hair reminds us of Jim's (look next to his ears!)  It won't lay flat for anything!

Fall Fun

Happy (late) Fall everyone! Fall was beautiful here with the colors changing and watching the leaves fall.  It's just sad to think winter is coming (in Washington at least! =)
Noah was invited over to our neighbor's house to spend time jumping in the leaves.  Like always, he was very hesitant at first but really got into it after Daddy and Rachel showed him how.

These are our neighbors and friends Michael and Rachel.  I think Noah considers Mike to be his best friend even though he won't talk or look at him.  He asks for him all the time and says he wants to go see him.
Elijah liked being outside even though it was pretty chilly.  Don't you just love his little bear outfit (thanks Angie!)
My blue eye'd boy!  I love that both Noah and Elijah have bright blue eyes considering Jason's are brown and mine are green.

Elijah's many faces

I love watching Elijah grow. Each time I look at his pictures, I can't believe how much he's already changed. He's starting to hold his head up on his own, roll over, and reach for his toys. When he's awake he just talks and smiles all day. Now I just have to get him to sleep! Don't ask me what he's doing here! I'm just glad I caught him making these faces!
(If you can, click on this picture to enlarge it.  Look at Elijah's sideburn.  His hair has red in it just like Noah's.)

Carving Pumpkins

Noah was really excited to carve his pumpkin. He kept telling us to open the pumpkin. Once he realized what was inside I don't think he was too thrilled! His face explains it all! We were able to get him to reach inside once and feel the seeds but that was it. He used the spoon a couple of times but then handed it over and told Mommy to get the "eww's" out. He still likes his pumpkin but didn't want to touch it after that!

Happy Halloween

We hope everyone had a great halloween. Despite being cold, our halloween was great! We dressed the boys up in our favorite football team's colors and got them each a football. Since Noah can't eat the candy, and Elijah would've froze, we went to one neighbor's house to say hello. Below are their halloween pictures and Elijah's 2 month pictures. They grow too fast!
Some people will tell us how much Elijah and Noah look alike. Jason said it the second Elijah was born, I still don't see it. I think all the hair throws me off. This is Noah when he was 4 months old in his Ohio State outfit.
Here's Noah again at 21 months and 4 months wearing Daddy's same hat. I still love those checks!
This was the little hair Noah had before it all fell out! Big difference from what Elijah has.

Cousins Pictures

These were some pictures we had taken of the boys while my Mom and nephew were visiting. Of course in our minds the pictures would go smoothly, then reality set in. Noah cried the entire time which is weird considering he's had his picture taken every month since the day he was born. Once Elijah heard Noah cry, then he started in. Thankfully Nathan was a trooper and just kept smiling! At least Grandma got her picture!
Isn't this just too cute. They did this on their own without us posing them!
