"A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me." John 16:32

Elijah Red Milton

So he finally made it! Elijah meaning "the Lord is my God" and Red after my late Papa Beck, was born Monday, August 4th at 3:42am. He came in at 8 lb. even and 19 1/2 in. long. Thankfully, Elijah was born in 8 hours compared to Noah's 17. Noah is very interested in his new baby brother as long as there's nothing else to distract him. He wants to hold him, put blankets on him, and tries to hold his hand all the time. We are slowly adjusting to our new change in the family. Thankfully, I've had my cousin Ashlee here to help me the last month and to stay with Noah when we were in the hospital. My mom took the first flight out here to see Elijah just hours after he was born. They've been here all week and I'm very sad to see them leave. Jason and I are very excited to have our new addition and can't wait for family and friends to meet him! I'm sure I will send more pictures as soon as I can catch up on some sleep (18 years from now right?!?!)

Our New Home

So we finally moved out of our mold infested apartment and are renting a home a few blocks away. Of course we have enjoyed the extra space but really enjoy the back yard. As you can see one of Noah's new favorite activities is helping Daddy cut the grass.
We've also swam a ton this summer. I do have to say, summer is much better here in Spokane than California. Again, I'm sure my feelings will change this winter!
