Well what can I say, we made is through our first Christmas in Washington and Noah's first birthday. Christmas for us was very quiet. Opening presents, playing with new toys, and lounging in our PJ's all day was our extent of excitement. Surprisingly, I don't think Noah really enjoyed opening presents. After opening the first present, he wanted to play with the toy instead of opening more. Needless to say, Jason and I did most of the unwrapping.
For Noah's birthday we were very excited to have my parents, sister, and nephew in town. We took a boat cruise in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to look at Christmas lights and lots of cake and ice cream. Again very surprisingly, Noah did not like his cake or ice cream. We had a great time! It's just hard to believe he's already one. He started walking the night my family flew in and hasn't slowed down since. We're still working hard on words, so far everything's dada with an occasional mama. He does jabber a ton though. He loves to walk around with the phone up to his ear like he's talking to someone. Funny enough, he doesn't repeat the words we say but he will repeat the same amount of syllables. We're still working on teeth (which makes for lovely nights!!!) So far he has four on top and two on the bottom. He has a huge gap between his two front teeth which is adorable!
