"A time is coming and in fact has come when you will be scattered, each to your own home. You will leave me all alone. Yet I am not alone, for my Father is with me." John 16:32

Carving Pumpkins

Noah was really excited to carve his pumpkin. He kept telling us to open the pumpkin. Once he realized what was inside I don't think he was too thrilled! His face explains it all! We were able to get him to reach inside once and feel the seeds but that was it. He used the spoon a couple of times but then handed it over and told Mommy to get the "eww's" out. He still likes his pumpkin but didn't want to touch it after that!

Happy Halloween

We hope everyone had a great halloween. Despite being cold, our halloween was great! We dressed the boys up in our favorite football team's colors and got them each a football. Since Noah can't eat the candy, and Elijah would've froze, we went to one neighbor's house to say hello. Below are their halloween pictures and Elijah's 2 month pictures. They grow too fast!
Some people will tell us how much Elijah and Noah look alike. Jason said it the second Elijah was born, I still don't see it. I think all the hair throws me off. This is Noah when he was 4 months old in his Ohio State outfit.
Here's Noah again at 21 months and 4 months wearing Daddy's same hat. I still love those checks!
This was the little hair Noah had before it all fell out! Big difference from what Elijah has.

Cousins Pictures

These were some pictures we had taken of the boys while my Mom and nephew were visiting. Of course in our minds the pictures would go smoothly, then reality set in. Noah cried the entire time which is weird considering he's had his picture taken every month since the day he was born. Once Elijah heard Noah cry, then he started in. Thankfully Nathan was a trooper and just kept smiling! At least Grandma got her picture!
Isn't this just too cute. They did this on their own without us posing them!

Noah & Elijah

This is Elijah's hospital picture.
Noah's 18 month picture
Elijah at 2 weeks old
Thanks for the blanket Aunt Sandy!
This will be my black-mail picture in about 12 years when they'd rather punch each other than hug each other!

greenbluff 2

This was another farm at Greenbluff.
Noah was really excited to ride the pony.
Until it started moving!
Nathan on the other hand loved every minute of it.
I would say they had a really good time!

greenbluff

While my Mom and Nathan were here we got to go to a place up here called Greenbluff.  (It's like Oak Glen in CA.)  You can go and pick fresh fruits and veggies, run through hay mazes, and eat all kinds of pies and desserts.  After spending almost 5 hours there you'd think we'd find time to pick stuff.  Instead we walked away with fresh apple cider, a peach pie, and pumpkin donuts!  Maybe next time we'll go for the healthy stuff!
Elijah is in there somewhere!
I find it interesting that you can actually see the skyline behind them.  Not just smog!
This was the hay maze the boys and my Mom ran through.  If you look to the right of Noah and my Mom, you can barely see Nathan's little blonde head inside the maze.

Cousins

At the end of September, my Mom was able to come stay with us for a week and bring my nephew Nathan.  This was the first time Nathan got to meet Elijah.  He kept asking me when baby Tank was coming so he could fly in an airplane to come see him.  We all had such a good time while they were here.  Of course it was sad to see them leave but at least we'll all get to spend Christmas together.  (And it will get us out of the snow for a while!)
Aren't they handsome first thing in the morning!
Grandma's (or I should say Ma-maw's) boys!
They look thrilled to go down the slide don't they?!  They were actually getting upset with me because I kept taking too many pictures. This picture cracks me up because I don't think my Mom or Noah knew how fast this slide was going to be. =)
